It’s been slow still for me to get back into training.  There are two months still until the New Jersey State Triathlon so I have some time to get back up to speed.

This past week I had two OK swims and one run.  On the run day I tried to do some in my FiveFinger Bikilas and started to feel a bit of tenderness in the tendons on the bottom of my foot.  I managed to walk home and get my Asics after massaging my feet a bit.  Don’t be like me and attempt to do Too Much Too Soon.  TMTS is a common problem among runners who want to get right into minimalist running.  There is a transition period.  Build it up slow.  It could have been much worse if I didn’t switch to my other shoes.
