This past weekend I was at the Quick Check NJ Festival of Ballooning. It consisted of a lot of vendors, a handful of good headlining bands and other entertainment, and of course dozens upon dozens of hot air balloons.
The musical performances had some pretty big names this year including America, Hot Chelle Ray, 3 Doors Down, and Joan Jett and the Blackhearts. I didn’t get to see much of America or 3 Doors Down, but I did get to experience the entire Joan Jett concert. It was great.
On the first day I experienced the flight takeoff solely from the launch area. On days two and three I went behind the scenes and assisted the pilots competition chase crew. Check out these videos from my YouTube channel. There’s some great footage in both. It’s the coolest thing I’ve filmed so far.
